How very sad
This app is, basically, useless. First, in the advertisement email I just got, they refer to the touch, repeatedly, as the iTouch. uFail. Second, in looking up the TV Listings, you can only see the titles and only what little of the title fits into the little box. You can pick a day, sometimes, to jump to a day, but there's no way to jump ahead in time other than swipe, wait, swipe, wait. Repeat until you get to the time only to find out that, yeah, Bones is on Thursday night but no clue as to Rerun, new, nothing. And in trying to bring back up the choose date option, I kept hittng the zip code thing or it kept popping up. or something. If you hit the day, you bring back up the main screen. You have to hit it (where it says the time) exactly in the middle. - Support and Bill Pay is only a list of FAQs, a notice of "go online or call", a list of how-to videos, and more contact info. - Products and Services is only "here's what we will sell you!" - The Email, basically, I think, is just saying how to set it up using the standard email program on your device. It says to tap "settings". I can't find a settings. The circle in the lower corner is for the zip code which it cannot remember from one second to the next. - The News and Weather is kinda useful but it isn't local. I can get Nat'l news anywhere. I expected local things. - On Demand is probably the only thing on it that is worthwhile. You can set it to send you reminders (via phone or email) of specific or category releases. - Social Media is Charter's Facebook and Twitter page (yawn) - Locations is payment locations. You know, those offices way out there somewhere. So basicallly this app is useless other than the easier to view On Demand listings (I truly hate the way the TV does it). I'll keep it, though, in hopes that they actually decide to do something with it. Which I doubt. They can't get their own website right, why should they do anything with this app?
